Welcome to Granny Gothards!
We're passionate about dairy farming. We must be - we have been doing it for over a century! Located on the glorious Somerset Levels, with part of our land set out for conservation, our cows roam the land, munching on the lush grass in summer and snuggling up in their cosy barns in winter. They are so proud of the creamy milk they produce that they wanted us to share it with you.
So, steeped in strong family heritage, conscious of anything artificial and loving the idea of using the fabulous local produce in our area, we created Granny Gothards ice creams. Seriously creamy and from pasture to pot in just a day, they truly are as fresh as it gets. Delicious!
Our mouth-watering sorbets are created using luscious fresh fruits, with a little water and sugar. Simple! They are as scrumptious as our ice creams, but totally dairy-free.
